Important News, please read!

Hi everyone,

Andy and I hope that all of you and your loved ones are doing well through the coronavirus crisis. New York and adjacent states have been especially hard hit, but have also taken initiatives to minimize contagion. Still, it’s likely that the measures put in place will continue to be in effect in some form for a while.
We have been tracking the situation and discussing possible options for this year’s Farmers Daughter Gravel Grinder since late February. With hope that we can run the event as planned dwindling each day, we have decided to postpone Farmer’s Daughter to a later date in the hope that it will be feasible then. We are tentatively targeting September 13, which is another beautiful time of year in Columbia County. We hope that all of you will be able to participate then; anyone who cannot will be able to obtain a refund of your entry fee for 2020 (minus the BikeReg fee.) We will have details on all this shortly, but wanted to let you know about the changes as soon as possible.
Please take seriously the measures that have come from the CDC and state and local health departments. We want to see everyone who makes Farmer’s Daughter a great event back together as soon as we can make that happen: participants, sponsors, volunteers, and all those we each care about. Our thoughts are with you, stay well!
Jon and Andy

I tried reaching out to BikeReg for a refund. Here is their response:

    1. Hi David,
Andy has been handling any refund requests, I’ll check in with him on the protocol and one of us will get back to you shortly. In the meantime, no worries, we’re providing refunds to anyone who requests one.

    1. Hi Craig, sorry, I wasn’t notified of your query. Hopefully, the subsequent post provided you with the answer and how to go about doing it.

  2. I was expecting this and totally agree with the decision! Hope to see you in September. Now to find the motivation to keep training!
