September 13, 2020

Hi Everyone, we hope that all of you and your loved ones are well, and that you’re finding ways to make it through this very difficult time.

In a recent post we mentioned that we were tentatively planning to hold this year’s Farmer’s Daughter event on September 13. After reviewing that date and others, we have decided to commit officially to September 13 2020 for the event (assuming it is advisable to hold any large events at that time).

We realize that some of you may have already made other commitments to that date. Even in “normal times” it’s impossible to find an event date that doesn’t conflict with others that some of us would like to participate in. That’s been compounded by the fact that many events normally held in the spring have had to squeeze into late summer or fall. After consideration of several options, we think that this remains the best solution.

For those of you who remain registered but have conflicts with that date, you can either transfer your registration to someone else or cancel your registration and receive a refund via BikeReg.com, where you registered. We will allow refunds until August 1, and transfers until a few days before the event (recall that there is a post below where you can post requests for transfers as well as availability of transfers).

We’ll also be posting some news shortly about an exciting change for the 2020 Farmer’s Daughter, keep an eye out for that.

Jon and Andy

  1. I could not make original date, but can with the new date. If anyone has the opposite problem, I am willing to take over your registration at full cost. Thanks Jeff

    1. Hi Anthony, As far as I know, we can’t do that directly on Bikereg, so you’d need to cancel and register directly next January. If the event fills quickly and you can’t register, remind me of your query and I’ll make sure you get in. Sorry for any inconvenience.
