Registration for the 2019 Farmer’s Daughter will open on January 1st.

Hi everyone, Andy and I (Jon) hope you’ve all had a great year of cycling, and that you’re planning to join us this year for the 2019 Farmer’s Daughter Gravel Grinder, which will take place on Sunday, May 19th this year. With that in mind, we’re opening registration January 1st this year on bikereg.com/farmersdaughter, so that you can register right after the ball drops at midnight tomorrow and get a good start on your New Year’s resolutions! 🙂
The participation cap remains at 400 cyclists for this year’s event. We’ve reached capacity every year, so we encourage you to register early to ensure your spot (and save some money during the early registration period).
Most aspects of the event will remain the same as last year: the start/finish will once again be at Crellin Park in Chatham, NY., and the course will remain the same as last year’s other than a minor tweak or two.
Your registration includes the ride itself, mechanical and other support along the course, some of the best aid stations you’ll experience anywhere, great schwag, a full dinner meal provided by the Kinderhook Rotary (they do a great job every year!), a free pint of beer from Chatham Brewing for those of age, live entertainment, and more.
We’ll be updating the website with new date over the next few days, and will also post details and any changes in the months before the event.
We’re looking forward to seeing old friends and making new friends for a great day of cycling, food and drink, and friendship on May 19th, 2019!

    1. Hi Sheena,
There’s no waitlist, but I did make a posting on the Facebook website a couple of days ago, I should have posted it here, too, sorry for that omission. Long story short, Andy and I are working through some logistical details re. support and sponsors. We should have an announcement later this week. If all goes well we’ll be able to add 50 slots, and I’ll announce the date (probably next Monday or Tuesday) that we’ll re-open registration for 50 more entrants.

  1. Thanks so much for pointing that out, Spencer, I’ll fix it right away. I haven’t had time yet to start updating the website articles to reflect 2018, but the link is a priority, and easy to fix.
I look forward to seeing you in May!
    Jon
