Farmer’s Daughter 2017 date

Hi everyone! We’ve gotten a handful of questions recently about next year’s date, so we thought we’d post it. In keeping with our short tradition, we’ll be holding the 2017 Farmer’s Daughter Gravel Grinder on Sunday May 21, one week after Mother’s Day.

We’d love to have all of you back next year, so please reserve the date, and bring friends, too! We’ve got a couple of changes in the works that we’re sure you’ll like. We’ll provide a separate update shortly on that when we announce the date that we’ll open early  registration.

      Hi Anthony,

We had a couple of unanticipated changes and weren’t able to get registration opened until today. Please see our announcement on the website (www.farmersdaughtergravelgrinder.com), on our facebook page, or directly at https://www.bikereg.com/farmersdaughtergravelgrinder. Early registration is available through March 31 unless we hit the 400 participant cap prior to that. I look forward to seeing you there in May!

Hey! I may come up late Sat…is camping allowed at the Fairgrounds…or do you have a place to suggest for staying that night?

      Hi Hugo,
We’ve moved the event to Crellin Town Park in Chatham this year. The best place I know of to camp nearby is at Taconic State Park, near Copake. I’d guess that to be about 20-30 minutes from the event start. Here’s a link: https://parks.ny.gov/parks/83/details.aspx
